Shanti Marg has stitching classes going on in its Ali Vihar center to provide a hands-on skill to poor woman.
Several woman in the poor areas are forced to work as domestic help in houses for meagre salaries. Sometimes the earning does not suffice and females are forced into informal prostitution trades and corrupts the society.
We intend to procure stitching machines and open up more stitching centers to teach and strengthen woman in the slum and poor areas to bring them out of poverty by providing an additional hand in earning livelihood. Every female has a right to livelihood and respect and providing them such opportunity will help us all to build a proud nation.
