Shanti Marg is a team of like-minded people who have similar vision and passion. People in our NGO are committed to common goal of social equality, upliftment of under-privileged, sense of respect and unity in all classes of society and minimizing the social evils (addiction, poverty, illiteracy, caste-atrocities, domestic violence etc). We work for social welfare of children and woman as well as a few internal teams work on de-addiction for man to build a peaceful society. Shanti Marg has not received any funds from government and corporates but the team and a few like-minded individuals help the cause financially.
President – Brijesh Chorotia
An IIT post-graduate, IT professional, non-religious Ambedkarite with spiritual inclination has been associated with Shanti Marg since 2003 as his burden for the society aligns with the vision and mission of Shanti Marg. Married to Mrs Prerna Singh and having 2 school going kids, a boy and a girl, joined Shanti Marg as a volunteer and co-worker. He became the president of the society and has been re-elected several times, being a pillar and constant support to the founder and goals of the NGO.
Mr Chorotia after completing his LLB, assists the cause by aiding in legal awareness programs as well as family counselor for child abuse, domestic violence and pre-litigation marriage counseling.
Secretary and founder – Rajkumar Kataria
A business-man and social-worker, Mr Kataria is engaged in various social activities since 2000. The NGO was vision and dream of Mr Kataria to consolidate the activities, provide a legal sanctity to the social activities and bring along like-minded people on a common platform. Mr Kataria is married to Mrs Anita Kataria and has a married son and two unmarried beautiful daughters.
It is Mr Kataria’s constant endeavor to reach out to children who are abused, poverty stricken rag-pickers and addicted to drug-abuse, to rescue them and align them to mainstream society. He reaches out to their families, understands the basic needs and work accordingly to empower woman of the family and help the head of the family to come out of any social evils and take care of the family.
